Job summary

The Cloud Engineer delivers Modern Workplace projects from technical preparation through implementation and handover, tailoring standardized blueprints to customer needs. The role also covers Microsoft 365, endpoints, Azure Public Cloud, identity, security, and compliance, with automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform. The engineer maintains customer relationships, ensures technical quality and continuity, and collaborates across technical disciplines.

• MBO level 4 or equivalent, preferably in information technology.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing IT role.
• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint management, identity, security, and compliance.
• Relevant Microsoft certification such as MD-102, MS-102, AZ-104, or SC-900, or demonstrably equivalent knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, automation, and scripting, with the ability to learn new topics independently.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

• Deliver Modern Workplace projects from technical preparation through implementation and handover.
• Configure customer environments using established blueprints and adapt solutions to customer requirements.
• Implement and manage Modern Workplace, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Contribute to identity, security, and compliance, including work with Microsoft Purview.
• Automate recurring tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor technical quality, project progress, and service continuity while maintaining customer communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues across technical disciplines and participate in scheduled on-call duty.
