Job summary

The Cloud Engineer at Nightwing will design, plan, and implement secure cloud migrations while providing technical support for multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience on leading cloud platforms
• Designing and implementing solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with container platforms such as Docker and OpenShift
• Experience with Infrastructure and Platform Automation Technologies
• Experience in building financial control and analysis systems
• Understanding of cloud resource tagging
• Experience providing cost optimization suggestions
• Mentor and coach colleagues for continuous improvement
• Comfortable in cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to create and maintain project plans in multi-cloud environments
• Understanding of software development and integration at SaaS and IaaS levels
• Proficient in distributed computing principles
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources
• Guide technical staff in resolving architecture and design issues
• Demonstrated thought leadership in cloud computing
• Maintain awareness of emerging cloud capabilities and technologies

Responsibilities

• Build cloud instances based on system and mission requirements

• Integrate code with CI/CD pipelines

• Research, design, install, configure, and deploy platform products
• Deliver cloud solutions, both IaaS and PaaS
• Create and install cloud computing solutions
• Automate cloud system operations
• Develop and implement modular cloud-based applications
• Resolve technical issues and document them
• Create strategies for enhancing cloud technology performance
• Maintain applications and infrastructure for cloud-based platforms
• Train IT team members on cloud computing technologies
• Create instructions for cloud computing operations
• Maintain and update documentation
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
