Job summary
The Cloud Engineer role is centered on designing, enhancing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment using Microsoft Azure technologies. Responsibilities include managing Azure compute, storage, networking, and security, while also supporting cloud migration and transformation initiatives through tools like PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365.
Qualifications
- Strong, recent and hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
- Comfortable across Azure IaaS and PaaS
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, Sentinel, KQL, Azure Arc, Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Azure DevOps
Responsibilities
- Designing and supporting secure Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Supporting cloud migration and transformation initiatives
- Managing Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring and security
- Working with Azure Landing Zones and secure cloud architecture
- Managing Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC and MFA
- Identifying opportunities to improve automation, security, performance and cost efficiency
