Qualifications

• Strong background combining core Python software development with hands-on AWS infrastructure deployment
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS, SQS, RDS, EC2)
• Proven experience deploying cloud environments via Terraform
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration such as AWS ECS
• Familiarity with data transformation strategies and handling high-volume data streams
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient Python applications for real-time telematics and large-scale data transformation
• Provision, manage, and scale secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Architect solutions with a strong focus on cost-efficiency, low latency, and high throughput without compromising reliability
• Deploy serverless and containerised workloads using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EC2, SQS, S3, and RDS
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build processes, and cloud deployments
• Set up performance monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution
