Job summary
As a Cloud Engineer Sr Principal at GDIT, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support secure and high-performing applications for intelligence customers.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
- Experience managing AWS and Azure hybrid/multi-cloud environments
- Experience with RHEL system administration
- Strong proficiency with IaC tools
- Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, and serverless technologies
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- TS/SCI w/ Poly (or eligibility)
- US citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud environments for cost and efficiency
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions
