Cloud Engineer responsible for delivering features to support cloud migration, optimization, and deployment within a DevSecOps practice.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Security Clearance
• 5+ years of total experience
• 3+ years of experience architecting and implementing cloud solutions
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with Git SCM providers
• 3+ years of experience in an Agile environment
• 3+ years of experience implementing infrastructure as code
• 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tooling and orchestration

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
• Understand stakeholder needs and convey to developers
• Automate and improve configuration, provisioning, deployment, and release processes
• Test and analyze code written by others
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates
• Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps engineers
• Support enterprise Cloud applications through infrastructure as code
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processes
• Document as-is state, perform gap analysis, and produce recommendations
• Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues
• Mentor junior team members
• Engineer solutions and provide recommendations for improvement
• Present status updates and provide cross training
