Job summary
Populous is seeking a Cloud Engineer with over 5 years of experience in AWS and/or Azure to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts
- Experience with firewalls and security controls
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience in designing secure network connectivity
- Experience with CI/CD tools
Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
- Implement secure network solutions including VPCs/VNets and routing
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls and security controls
- Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript
- Monitor system performance and security with cloud-native tools
- Support cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud architecture
- Design secure connectivity solutions including VPNs and Direct Connect
- Maintain infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines
- Support vulnerability response and remediation
- Troubleshoot cloud, network, and firewall issues
- Support deployment infrastructure for web applications
