Job summary

The Cloud Engineer / SysOps role focuses on Infrastructure as Code and security, requiring the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructures using Terraform.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / SysOps / Platform Engineering
• Experience with Terraform in a production environment
• Practical experience with CI/CD in GitLab and Docker
• Operational security awareness: OIDC, RBAC, secret management
• Ability to script in Python for automation
• Good communication skills, quality and delivery oriented
• Retail experience appreciated but not required

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructures using Terraform
• Manage the lifecycle of cloud environments
• Contribute to the evolution of the Landing Zone architecture
• Implement and maintain security mechanisms
• Ensure compliance of access and configurations
• Identify and address security drift
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Manage deployment and rollback strategies
• Develop lightweight Python scripts and APIs
• Document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Automate infrastructure functionality tests
• Establish and maintain platform observability
• Contribute to reliability and scalability of environments
• Participate in incident resolution and post-mortems
