Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Design and operate secure, scalable cloud environments for AI/ML workloads in classified, multi-enclave settings, supporting distributed model training, high-performance computing, and low-latency inference. Integrate public cloud with on-premises and accelerator infrastructure, automate deployments, manage container platforms, optimize cloud networking and storage, and implement secure data and model governance across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance or higher required
• At least 8 years of experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP required
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud networking and storage optimization required
• Knowledge of cloud engineering, AI/ML compute environments, distributed systems, or high-performance computing required
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, and DevSecOps pipelines required
• Strong understanding of secure cloud practices and multi-enclave operations required
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud integration preferred
• Familiarity with GPU or accelerator hardware and AI-optimized cloud patterns preferred
• Experience in high-security or classified environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures for AI/ML compute, storage, and networking.
• Integrate public cloud platforms with on-premises hyperconverged systems and accelerator hardware.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.
• Standardize automation processes across teams.
• Support secure, highly available operations for classified and mission-critical AI applications.
• Manage container orchestration platforms and multi-tenant operations.
• Implement data and model governance for secure AI pipelines.
