Job summary
As a Sr Cloud Engineer at Wor***, you will guide the company's cloud adoption strategy and lead the technical aspects of transitioning to the Public Cloud. You will develop cloud strategies, design solutions, and provide mentorship while ensuring compliance and optimizing resource usage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS or GCP.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux operating systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Ruby, Go, or Python.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Expertise in building solutions in the Public Cloud for web-scale applications.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Experience with communication protocols and microservices.
- Proven track record of leading cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security principles.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Expertise in containerization technologies and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in the entire software lifecycle.
- Experienced in tracking and managing code changes using SCM tools.
- Capable of encouraging a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Able to streamline the development process and maintain codebase integrity.
Responsibilities
