Job summary

Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies, specifically Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Strong experience with Azure platform services
  • Experience with Citrix or VMware
  • Experience with Microsoft platform services
  • Experience securing systems per compliance requirements
  • Experience with scripting and automation

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement VDI technologies
  • Review VDI infrastructure for software and security updates
  • Support monitoring efforts to resolve issues
  • Maintain VDI documentation
  • Automate AVD functionality with Azure scripts
  • Manage AVD Image and apply patches
  • Troubleshoot AVD and Azure issues
  • Monitor autoscaling of AVD resources
  • Track AVD usage trends
  • Monitor AVD cost consumption
