Job summary
Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies, specifically Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Strong experience with Azure platform services
- Experience with Citrix or VMware
- Experience with Microsoft platform services
- Experience securing systems per compliance requirements
- Experience with scripting and automation
Responsibilities
- Design and implement VDI technologies
- Review VDI infrastructure for software and security updates
- Support monitoring efforts to resolve issues
- Maintain VDI documentation
- Automate AVD functionality with Azure scripts
- Manage AVD Image and apply patches
- Troubleshoot AVD and Azure issues
- Monitor autoscaling of AVD resources
- Track AVD usage trends
- Monitor AVD cost consumption
