Job summary
Capgemini is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support leading banks, financial service providers, and insurance companies in mastering industry challenges. The role involves developing modern and tailored Cloud Engineering solutions, driving innovation through technical expertise, and utilizing modern AI and automation tools. The position offers the opportunity to design and develop cloud platforms and landing zones, further expanding knowledge in cloud-native solutions in Azure and/or AWS using IaC tools.

Qualifications
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in (Business) Informatics or another MINT field
- Good knowledge of cloud and infrastructure concepts: Security, Network Design, Compute and Storage
- Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, SRE, Observability, and Security
- Knowledge of containers and serverless technologies, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Knative, or Lambda
- Initial experience with AI-powered tools for Cloud Automation or code generation
- Ability to communicate and present convincingly
- Openness to project-related travel
- Very good German and English language skills
Responsibilities
- Support global banks, financial service providers, and insurance companies in mastering industry challenges
- Support clients in developing modern and tailored Cloud Engineering solutions
- Drive innovation through technical expertise and the targeted use of modern AI and automation tools
- Design and develop Cloud platforms and Landing Zones
- Expand existing knowledge in developing cloud-native solutions in Azure and/or AWS using IaC tools like Terraform, Biceps, CDK, and GitOp
- Contribute to the further development of the portfolio
- Share knowledge in technical workshops
