Job summary

The Cloud Engineer Co-op helps improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity through cloud engineering, DevOps automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and AI-powered tools. The role builds solutions using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines; develops engineering tools with Gemini and Vertex AI; and supports cloud operations, observability, incident analysis, and research into AI use cases such as automated testing and cost optimization.

• Pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or another programming language for scripts, APIs, or automation.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts and tools, such as Gemini, Vertex AI, or GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate cloud solutions using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Develop AI-powered engineering tools and agents to automate documentation, code analysis, testing, and operational tasks.
• Create automation for repository documentation, pull request summaries, self-service tools, and platform workflows.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, create dashboards, and use AI-assisted insights to support root cause analysis and service reliability.
• Research, prototype, and measure AI use cases such as automated testing, access reviews, cost optimization, and operational intelligence.
