Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining development and various applications, APIs, and integrations within Cloud Operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in cloud computing technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux distros.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP and DNS.
• Strong interpersonal skills in technical environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check for WPAFB or DoD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using App Engine and Flow Designer.
• Design and implement complex workflows.
• Maintain integrations with third party tools using APIs.
• Build custom applications and bots within MS Teams.
• Develop reports and dashboards.
• Design end-to-end automation using Power Automate.
• Build low-code applications using Power Apps.
• Ensure SSDLC methodology is followed.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as technical contact for outsourced web development projects.
• Create and maintain Systems & Software Development Life Cycle procedures.
• Provide 24x7 support for external websites and applications.
• Develop alerting systems for critical events.
• Assist with updating the 3-Year IT Operating Plan.
