Job summary

The Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer at JPM*** will design, build, and operate secure cloud environments for Java/SpringBoot microservices and React micro frontends. The role involves implementing CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience in DevOps/cloud support.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS (ECS) and cloud-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with global partners.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Understanding of SQL and Kafka dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure cloud environments for Java/SpringBoot microservices and React micro frontends.
• Own the AWS ECS application platform support model.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Administer CI/CD tooling and establish consistent deployment practices.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for integration and deployment.
• Identify reliability and performance bottlenecks for optimization.
• Support data-in-motion and data-access dependencies.
• Contribute to Agile delivery within Scrum teams.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen DevOps maturity.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Foster an inclusive team culture.
