Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Ottawa, ON Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable. Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will design and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical services. Responsibilities Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments. Support cloud modernization initiatives for banking, government, OSS/BSS, billing, and telecom platforms. Design and support cloud networking, storage, backup, resiliency, and disaster recovery solutions. Build infrastructure supporting telecom network operations, 5G platforms, and edge computing environments. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operational teams. Implement cloud security, governance, and compliance controls. Manage infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity planning. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes. Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and incidents. Support enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives. Required Qualifications Experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments is required. Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom operational platforms. Strong experience with cloud infrastructure technologies and services. Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery solutions. Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools. Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
