Job summary

The Cloud Operations Engineer role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions and APIs on Microsoft Azure, while integrating advanced AI capabilities into production environments. Key responsibilities include utilizing Python, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and automating infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Azure services like Azure Functions and Cosmos DB.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, Backend, or DevOps
• Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Solid experience in backend and API development
• Practical knowledge of Python
• Experience with Generative AI, NLP, RAG, and LLMs
• Experience with Azure services, especially Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Key Vault
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Bicep and/or CloudFormation
• Experience with automation and deployment tools like Azure DevOps or equivalents
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
• Knowledge of Azure Networking, including VNET, NSG, and related components
• Knowledge of data stores, databases, IAM, and Cloud Security
• Experience with scripting in Python, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, or equivalent technologies
• Experience with testing automation harnesses and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions and APIs on Microsoft Azure
• Integrate advanced AI capabilities into production environments
• Develop solutions using Python as the main technology
• Work with Generative AI, NLP, RAG, and LLMs
• Implement and evolve solutions on Azure services
• Develop end-to-end solutions from design to deployment
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues
• Apply best practices for development, code quality, and maintainability
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code
• Manage cloud environments, configurations, and workflows through automation
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams
