Cloud Operations Engineer

Job summary

The Cloud Operations Engineer will manage and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, driving automation and operational efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, or DevOps environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD platforms
• Knowledge of Azure Networking (VNET, NSG, etc.)
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, or similar technologies
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and tooling
• Understanding of security controls, Policy-as-Code, and cloud governance
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL-based service management practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS
• Automate infrastructure deployment through Infrastructure as Code
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments
• Manage Azure networking components such as VNETs and NSGs
• Implement self-service infrastructure automation and operational workflows
• Support operational stability, security controls, and Policy-as-Code initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions
