Job summary
Develop and securely operate a developer platform and its products, including markhub, markprem, observability, and DevTools, for development teams. Provide automated self-service platform services and Golden Paths, integrate technologies across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, and automate infrastructure and operations with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD. The role also covers security risk remediation, team support, technical documentation, and on-call duties.

Qualifications
- Technical vocational qualification, IT-related degree, or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge in at least one of hyperscalers, Kubernetes, Linux, or automation platforms
- Experience building, operating, or enhancing platforms, cloud infrastructure, or containerized environments
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, and modern operating models
- Experience with DevOps and platform technologies such as GitLab and Terraform or equivalent tools
- Analytical ability to structure complex technical issues and develop suitable solutions
- Independent working style and ability to collaborate in a team
- Customer- and solution-oriented approach
- Very good German and good English
Responsibilities
- Develop and securely operate the developer platform and its products
- Provide standardized automated platform services, self-service offerings, and Golden Paths
- Evaluate and integrate technologies into hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Automate infrastructure, provisioning, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Identify and remediate technical and security risks
- Support development teams in using the platform and its services
- Analyze and resolve complex cross-functional technical challenges
- Create and maintain platform service and operational documentation
- Participate in on-call support for the development platform
