Job summary
The Cloud Platform Engineer develops and scales a cloud-based video security platform for research and development and production, and operates infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. The role focuses on security, improving processes and tools, and collaborating with software development teams, using technologies including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Bash.

Qualifications
- Strong technical ability and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Infrastructure knowledge across Linux, AWS or Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Bash.
- Commitment to thorough testing and operating systems beyond initial deployment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency in English.
- Cloud architecture development experience is a plus.
- Experience with a modern programming language such as Go, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GitHub Workflows, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale the cloud platform for research and development and production environments.
- Operate infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, including Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
- Apply security-first practices.
- Improve processes and tools.
- Track developments in technology and security and recommend short- and long-term solutions.
