Job summary
Serco is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer for a 6-month freelance contract to support the design, implementation, and operation of modern cloud platform services.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure as code
- Build, operate, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Implement observability, monitoring, and operational automation
- Support cost optimisation through autoscaling and right-sizing
- Adopt an AI-first approach using agentic AI tools
- Work within an iterative delivery model using Azure DevOps or GitHub Projects
- Produce and maintain architecture and technical documentation
