Seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer for the Cloud & Infrastructure team in Cheltenham to implement, support, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience supporting enterprise Azure environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell.
• Experience migrating workloads to Azure.
• Understanding of cloud security and governance principles.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimisation techniques.
• Experience with monitoring and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Deliver secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Provision and manage Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
• Implement and maintain cloud security and governance standards.
• Monitor and resolve Azure platform incidents and service requests.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Implement monitoring and performance management across Azure.
• Optimise cloud performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Contribute to service improvement and operational maturity.
