Job summary

The Cloud Platform Engineering Manager I oversees the engineering, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-based and AI-enabled cybersecurity platforms, leading engineering execution and managing a team of cybersecurity engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a related area.
• Relevant experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
• Minimum of 11 years of related experience without a degree.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network architectures.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Knowledge of systems security standards and experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
• Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements.
• Experience designing and securing cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, and security monitoring tools.
• Manage and tune IT security systems and applications.
• Audit and manage system and network access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for security integration.
• Oversee planning and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and security standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and solution architects.
