Job summary
The Cloud Sales Specialist drives new business across agentic development, GitHub, DevOps, and cloud services, helping customers modernize software engineering in the UK and Ireland. The role builds pipeline through prospecting and partner engagement, develops commercial proposals, and leads opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and close. It also works with technical specialists to identify relevant Data & AI opportunities and engages stakeholders from engineering teams to CTOs and executives.

Qualifications
- Proven success winning new business in software engineering, application development, DevOps, cloud services, or related technology markets
- Ability to lead negotiations and close complex opportunities
- Experience building pipeline and creating demand
- Understanding of GitHub, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, Copilot, and modern developer toolchains
- Awareness of agentic development, platform engineering, developer productivity, and AI governance
- Ability to communicate business value to technical and executive stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Hunt, qualify, and win new business across agentic development, GitHub, DevOps, and cloud services
- Build pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and targeted outreach
- Manage opportunities from initial customer engagement through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
- Identify customer challenges and develop commercial propositions tied to business outcomes
- Identify Data & AI opportunities in collaboration with specialist teams
- Build relationships with developers, engineering leaders, CTOs, and executive decision-makers
