Job summary

The DevOps Engineering co-op role involves developing, integrating, and sustaining software and firmware systems for defense operations. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with computer networking and networking equipment
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, or Python
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with MS Windows Server, Linux, or virtual machine environments
• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as GitLab, Rational Team Concert, DOORS/DOORS NG, or JIRA/Confluence
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to software and firmware build systems
• Evaluate, document, and analyze software tools
• Assist with the management and improvement of automated test systems
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Collaborate closely with team members through scrums, task planning, and iterative development activities
• Integrate efforts across development and testing teams
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance build, test, and deployment processes
