• 2 to 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience supporting production services
• Comfortable with logs, metrics, and dashboards
• Understanding of the Four Golden Signals
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Understanding of high availability and fault tolerance
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures
• Awareness of security and compliance requirements
• Clear communication and thorough documentation

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary responder for production incidents
• Assess the impact of incidents
• Investigate operational issues using logs and metrics
• Contribute to postmortems and update runbooks
• Create and maintain dashboards and alerts
• Tune alert thresholds to reduce noise
• Participate in system design reviews
• Implement reliability improvements
• Manage cloud resources with Infrastructure as Code
• Write automation scripts and tools
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in infrastructure code reviews
• Support security and compliance activities
• Monitor resource utilisation and provide forecasts
• Collaborate with development and security teams
• Provide clear handovers and maintain documentation
• Use approved AI tools responsibly
