Job summary

The DevOps integration expert supports applications from design through production deployment, ensuring they are operationally ready across new applications, enhancements, and patches. The role focuses on installing and configuring Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, supporting application workloads and troubleshooting incidents, and building GitLab CI/CD pipelines for on-premises containerization and infrastructure as code. The toolchain includes GitLab, HashiCorp Vault, Artifactory, Kaniko, Trivy, Grype, Syft, Checkov, and Argo CD.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience.
• Strong Kubernetes and OpenShift expertise, including air-gapped deployments and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying workloads with Helm charts and YAML, and exposing services through Layer 4 and Layer 7 routes.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab CI, and runner setup.
• Experience with GitOps practices and continuous Kubernetes deployment using Argo CD.
• Experience with container image scanning tools and Kaniko.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, bare metal, NSX, load balancing, object storage, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience working on agile projects, collaborating in teams, and facilitating technical workshops.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Configure OpenShift services, including backup and monitoring.
• Support application workloads and troubleshoot incidents or failures.
• Create and modify GitLab CI jobs and pipelines.
