Job summary
As a Consultant in Site Reliability Engineering at CIBC, you will support the Contact Centre Line of Business by ensuring the seamless operation and ongoing improvement of application platforms.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps roles
- Expertise in automating application deployments
- Understanding of AIOps principles
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages
- Familiarity with application security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of observability strategies
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize automated application deployments
- Monitor system health and performance metrics
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Evaluate and improve systems and processes
- Define and maintain observability strategies
- Participate in on-call rotation for application support
- Contribute to observability and telemetry strategies
