Job summary
Seeking an experienced Container Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate Red Hat OpenShift container platforms with expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Five or more years of experience operating container platforms
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Knowledge of cluster monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with container image security
Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters
- Design and implement multi-tenant OpenShift platforms
- Automate cluster lifecycle operations
- Onboard application development teams to the platform
- Operate OpenShift networking
- Manage OpenShift storage strategies
- Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing
- Harden the platform with security teams
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift
- Develop disaster-recovery and backup strategies
- Plan and execute cluster upgrades
- Partner with application teams to manage workloads
- Evolve platform tooling and developer experience
- Mentor junior engineers
