Job summary
The FernUniversität in Hagen is seeking a Container Platform Engineer / Linux IT-Administrator to manage and develop their OpenShift/Kubernetes platform and underlying Linux infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously develop the OpenShift/Kubernetes platform and underlying Linux infrastructure
- Design automation and deployment processes using GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Ensure reliable operations and manage monitoring, logging, documentation, and backup processes
- Develop and implement security and access concepts (IAM, RBAC, Container Security)
- Integrate the platform into the existing IT landscape
- Collaborate closely with adjacent teams and promote knowledge transfer
- Manage the provision, planning, and management of compute, storage, and GPU resources
