Seeking a Contract Data Platform Engineer to deliver a transformation project via the Connells Group Data Platform, focusing on design, capacity, management, and configuration.

• Experience of Microsoft Fabric or other Cloud data ops components
• Experience of managing SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate Cloud Data Platform capability
• Maintain the Data Platform for project fulfilment
• Undertake root cause analysis and resolution of incidents
• Liaise with Data Architects and Data Engineers for data capabilities
• Use Agile methodologies for platform development
• Deliver Platform as Code and support scalable data ops
• Implement technical and financial observability
• Undertake platform capacity management
• Support project outcomes for solution architecture and data models
• Manage analytical platform use for business adoption
• Proactive monitoring and react to escalations
• Collaborate with data, engineering, and platform teams
