Contract - Software & DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Designs, builds, and secures enterprise applications and platforms using Java and JavaScript, with a focus on cloud-native architecture and software supply chain security. The role leads code reviews and system design, develops and optimizes CI/CD pipelines with automated security testing, and promotes secure development practices through threat modeling and security design reviews. The work also supports Infrastructure-as-Code practices and secure deployments.

Qualifications

• At least five years of enterprise software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and software design patterns
• Extensive experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of secure development lifecycle practices and secure coding
• Understanding of SBOMs, dependency management, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
