Job summary

The Engineer 2, Network Operations - Critical Infrastructure supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical infrastructure systems within Comcast facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in critical infrastructure, facility operations, or related fields
• Knowledge of critical infrastructure disciplines including electrical systems and HVAC equipment
• Experience using diagnostic and maintenance tools
• Ability to follow maintenance schedules and operating procedures
• Experience documenting operational activities and maintaining technical records
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues
• Ability to safely perform work in operational facilities and coordinate with teams
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to business-critical operations
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Implement critical infrastructure capacity management activities through site audits and equipment modeling
• Support plan of record deployment activities including ticket management and infrastructure planning
• Conduct distribution infrastructure maintenance by coordinating floor plan updates and managing equipment inventory
• Participate in facility operations support through monitoring device onboarding and analyzing performance indicators
• Contribute to infrastructure problem-solving activities by gathering data and recommending solutions
• Execute network infrastructure projects by coordinating with vendors and tracking milestones
• Maintain critical infrastructure documentation including floor plans and asset databases
• Perform routine infrastructure health checks and coordinate maintenance activities
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for variable schedules as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
