Job summary
As an Airflow Reliability Engineer on the Customer Reliability Engineering team, you will provide expertise to customers, helping them optimize their use of the managed Airflow service.
Qualifications
- Data Engineering background
- 1 year of experience in Airflow administration and DAG creation
- Experience with distributed systems on major cloud providers
- Ability to work autonomously
Responsibilities
- Learn and build expertise across several software engineering disciplines
- Solve challenging Airflow problems for customers
- Spend up to 20% of time on side projects
- Work directly with customers’ data engineers and DevOps teams
- Own the customer experience
- Help maintain 24x7 coverage
- Participate in paid on-call rotation for weekend coverage
