Job summary

ALT*** is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to enhance the effectiveness of the Customer Success team through AI-driven solutions. The role involves designing AI agents, automations, and internal tools to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years software engineering background
  • Proven track record of owning outcomes
  • Strong product instincts
  • Obsession with customer experience
  • Comfort reasoning about cost-to-serve
  • Proficiency in at least one modern language
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs
  • Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns
  • Experience with CRM platforms

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and iterate on AI agents and applications
  • Scope and prioritize what to build
  • Think from the customer's perspective first
  • Define success before shipping
  • Understand the business context behind the work
  • Own the technical decisions end-to-end
  • Partner with DevOps and Security
  • Collaborate closely with CS leadership
