Cyber Security Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Protect and enhance an AWS cloud environment by ensuring security controls, configurations, and services meet industry best practices, internal standards, and PCI DSS requirements. The role works with engineering, architecture, and risk teams to manage vulnerabilities, strengthen monitoring and threat detection, oversee identity and access controls, and support incident investigations. It also promotes secure-by-design practices and maintains compliance documentation and risk reporting.

• Previous AWS experience
• Experience in a large regulated organisation preferred
• Knowledge of information risk concepts and principles
• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, MITRE, or ITIL
• Understanding of security policies, processes, procedures, and standards, and how to embed them in business processes
• AWS certification preferred
