Chemify is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to enhance security across applications and infrastructure, integrating security standards and ensuring compliance with regulations like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Professional security certifications (SSCP, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP)
• Proficiency in Python and Kubernetes
• Linux systems engineering skills
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD security
• Cloud infrastructure security experience
• Experience with secure distributed systems
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO 27001
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Build and support security tools and policies
• Implement DevSecOps requirements for security
• Lead threat modelling and penetration testing
• Manage security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Implement automated identity and access solutions
• Harden network infrastructure and endpoint security
• Improve Controls and Change Management processes
• Engage in vendor discussions for secure services
• Oversee vendor compliance and software security reviews
• Assess third-party tools against security standards
• Implement compliance monitoring and observability tools
• Drive progress toward SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance
• Identify and remediate cyber risks in manufacturing
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Disseminate CI/CD security best practices and training
