Job summary
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you support experienced engineers in building, managing, and improving secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments. You work with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud resources, Terraform-based infrastructure automation, Kubernetes and containers, and DevOps practices including Git and CI/CD pipelines, while developing your skills across cloud infrastructure and automation.

Qualifications
- HBO-level education or equivalent in ICT, computer science, or a related technical field
- Interest in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or DevOps
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Interest in infrastructure and process automation
- Some knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, or Python through study, an internship, or personal projects
- Understanding of networking, servers, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git or willingness to learn
- Interest in CI/CD and modern development practices
- Enjoy investigating and solving technical problems
- Able to collaborate with engineers and receive feedback
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Support the building, management, and improvement of cloud environments
- Help configure and manage cloud resources, including virtual environments, storage, databases, and network components
- Learn to automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform
- Assist with deploying and managing applications in container environments using Kubernetes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate recurring tasks
- Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software and infrastructure releases
- Contribute to cloud platform improvements and support teams using cloud-based applications
