Job summary
Designs, builds, and maintains compute and network infrastructure for on-site test environments, prototype rigs, demonstration factory lines, and remote customer deployments. The hands-on role covers equipment selection, server rack assembly, software installation, cabling, network routing, and service monitoring, supporting industrial automation systems across Linux and Windows platforms.

Qualifications
- Build and configure server racks, switches, routers, patch panels, and power systems
- Configure TCP/IP addressing, physical and logical network segmentation, routing, and firewall rules
- Set up Linux and Windows operating systems and remote deployment tools for bare-metal industrial and embedded PCs
- Communicate customer support and maintenance needs, equipment requirements, repairs, and emerging risks proactively
- Interest or experience in robotic automation, industrial or embedded PCs, or factory installations
- Experience selecting and procuring server hardware, network equipment, cabling, and UPS systems
- At least 3 years of experience in network, infrastructure, or industrial IT roles
- Degree or vocational qualification in a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain compute and network infrastructure for test environments and customer deployments
- Specify appropriate equipment with suppliers
- Assemble server racks, install software, fit cabling, configure routing, and set up service monitoring
- Deploy network infrastructure for prototype rigs, demonstration factory lines, and customer sites
- Select and scale infrastructure to meet installation requirements
