Job summary

This internship supports the operation and optimization of hyperscale data center infrastructure, with exposure to electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems. The intern troubleshoots equipment failures, documents root cause analyses and corrective actions, reviews operating procedures, contributes to facility upgrades, and supports new construction projects through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• UAE national with a family book
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic
• Currently enrolled in a relevant BE/BSc program and graduating in 2027
• Authorized to work in the United Arab Emirates
• Experience with problem-solving methods and analytical approaches to technical challenges
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and work with data-driven processes
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and teams
• Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot site and equipment failures; perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Support operational issues through training, operating procedure reviews, and event response.
• Develop conceptual designs for data center upgrades to increase capacity, availability, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with data center design engineering, server hardware, and environmental health and safety teams to support operational standards.
• Manage concurrent projects.
• Support new construction through design, build, commissioning, and handover.
