The Data Cloud Engineer role is essential for establishing a robust cloud infrastructure that supports a global data landscape, focusing on high availability and performance on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include designing infrastructure standards, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and managing CI/CD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency and data security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting enterprise-scale Cloud Infrastructure
• Deep understanding of data security protocols
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Experience implementing Azure Policy and Blueprints
• Expertise in designing complex topologies
• Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel
• Understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC2 compliance
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and automated remediation workflows
• Expertise in Terraform/ Terragrunt, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust infrastructure standards on Microsoft Azure
• Implement IaC solutions for automated provisioning and configuration management using Terraform
• Establish and maintain Azure DevOps repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Execute security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Implement technical solutions for automated user provisioning, authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Collaborate with developers to engineer secure connections and integration patterns
• Configure Private Endpoints and Service Endpoints
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Cloud VMs
• Proactively monitor infrastructure health
• Conduct regular capacity planning for Microsoft Azure infrastructure
