Data Cloud Engineer - International Analytics Platform (m/f/d)

Job summary

As a Data Cloud Engineer at ALDI Nord, you will own and evolve the international analytics platform, implementing a fully automated GitOps-style Infrastructure-as-Code setup with Terraform on Azure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Git
• Building CI/CD pipelines for IaC on a major cloud
• Knowledge of data platform services on a major cloud
• Strong networking fundamentals
• Experience with DevOps / DataOps best practices
• Data engineering experience with Spark / Databricks is a plus
• Structured and solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English; German is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the international analytics platform
• Build reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state
• Design and automate CI/CD for infrastructure changes
• Operate the platform with reliability and cost-conscious mindset
• Implement security and networking by design
• Manage core data platform services as code
• Partner with data and analytics teams
