HSBC is seeking a Data DevOps Engineer to join their CTO Analytics Technology team, focusing on the development, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies
• Experience with data science tools
• Experience with data manipulation libraries
• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Understanding of Kubernetes and MLOps/LLMOps

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Big Data technologies
• Support data science initiatives with relevant tools
• Collaborate with data scientists on machine learning models and workflows
• Utilize data manipulation libraries for analysis and processing
• Develop and maintain Python applications and APIs
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for quality
• Participate in the deployment lifecycle of machine learning models
• Manage and deploy applications using container orchestration tools
• Stay updated on trends in data engineering and cloud computing
