Job summary
This contractor supports a cloud-based Enterprise Data Platform covering orchestration, metadata management, observability, automation, and AWS infrastructure. The role maintains Apache Airflow deployments on Astronomer, manages AWS EKS, develops Python automation, provisions infrastructure with Terraform, supports Atlan and Elementary, and troubleshoots production issues across applications, infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.

Qualifications
- Strong AWS experience, including EKS and cloud-native services.
- Hands-on Python development and scripting experience.
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code expertise.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience in complex enterprise environments with multiple teams and shared ownership.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Apache Airflow deployments on Astronomer.
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS services, especially EKS, and related cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Python automation and operational tools.
- Create and support Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Support and administer Atlan and Elementary.
- Troubleshoot production issues across applications, infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with cloud services and platform engineering teams across environments and regions.
- Improve platform reliability, monitoring, operational practices, and documentation.
