Job summary
The Data Platform Engineer builds and maintains the technical foundation for Business Intelligence and analytics, making data from internal and external systems reliable and consistent. The role develops data warehouses, integrations, semantic models, and reusable datasets, while monitoring the data environment, resolving incidents, improving data quality, and maintaining technical standards and documentation.

Qualifications
- Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses and data integrations; experience with ERP-related or complex data environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling
- Experience with semantic models for Business Intelligence
- Knowledge of modern data platform technologies and cloud-based data solutions
- Knowledge of version control, automated deployments, and development standards
- Analytical and accurate, with the ability to investigate the root cause of problems
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test integrations and data processing for internal and external sources
- Develop the data warehouse and other central data structures, placing transformations and business logic appropriately in the data architecture
- Create semantic models and reusable datasets for consistent Business Intelligence reporting
- Monitor the data environment, resolve complex technical incidents, and investigate recurring disruptions
- Simplify data flows, automate manual steps, and address persistent data quality issues
- Maintain technical standards, version control, secure access, controlled changes, and current documentation
