Data Platform Engineer - Cybersecurity

Job summary

As a Cybersecurity Data Platform Engineer at Workday, you will focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of a modernized cybersecurity data platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Experience administering enterprise Linux environments and operating within major cloud platforms.
• Experience building and managing monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms.
• Experience writing and maintaining scripts and working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration, configuration, and capacity planning for the cybersecurity data platform.
• Act as the dedicated operator for the EU Sovereign Region, adhering to data residency and isolation protocols.
• Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Objectives (SLOs) for platform health.
• Utilize and write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation scripts to reduce manual toil.
• Implement resource quotas and technical guardrails to protect the platform.
