Job summary

As a Data Platform Engineer at Yapily, you will contribute to the architecture, design, and scaling of a modern data platform, focusing on high-performance data pipelines and system integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and scaling data platform infrastructure
• Experience implementing and managing Databricks/BigQuery or Apache Spark environments
• Background in designing and maintaining custom REST APIs and webhooks
• Proficiency in Java/Python and advanced SQL
• Experience in a major cloud provider ecosystem
• Ability to evaluate vendor tools independently

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement modern storage and ingestion tools
• Drive Proof of Concept and implementation of Transaction Fraud Monitoring Tool
• Architect and build secure connectors from Salesforce to Transaction Monitoring tool
• Own technical integration between Treasury systems and Finance tools
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Manage high-volume financial data using SQL, NoSQL, and GCP services
• Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Core Engineering teams
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and testing frameworks
