Job summary
The Data Platform Engineer builds and supports scalable cloud-based data platforms, pipelines, and data warehouse solutions for enterprise reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. The role transforms complex source data into trusted assets, develops automated processing and CI/CD infrastructure, and contributes to platform performance, security, and governance. It uses Python and/or Java and applies data modelling, batch and streaming processing, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications
- Experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a similar technical discipline
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting scalable data platforms, pipelines, and data processing solutions
- Strong Python and/or Java development skills
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, batch and streaming processing, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
