Job summary
Design and operate scalable, secure infrastructure for a self-service Snowflake data platform supporting data mesh principles and data-driven decision-making. Build cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment pipelines; monitor and optimize platform reliability; and collaborate with data, DevOps, cloud, and security teams. The role uses Snowflake, dbt, Azure, Terraform, Bicep, and Kubernetes, with the team also supporting SimCorp Dimension, a Risk Datastore, and Crystal Reports.

Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines.
- Azure expertise in compute, networking, and storage.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or PowerShell for Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Higher professional or university-level education, or equivalent experience.
- Four to ten years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to draft implementation plans and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Business analysis skills for translating stakeholder needs into infrastructure solutions.
- Dutch and English communication skills at C1 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure for a self-service Snowflake data platform.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions and automated deployment pipelines.
- Manage, monitor, and test infrastructure to maintain stable operations.
- Research and implement solutions to improve platform efficiency, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and security specialists.
