Job summary
Renaissance Benefits is hiring an experienced Data Platform Engineer to enhance their data platform and integrate it within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field preferred
- Five or more years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience designing integration architectures and data contracts
- Experience with data modeling and scalable data infrastructure
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgment
- Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies
- Uses AI tools responsibly within company guidelines
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the integration layer between the Microsoft Fabric platform and Azure services
- Define data contracts, API standards, and integration patterns
- Establish scalable platform architecture
- Partner with the AI Manager to support AI and machine learning initiatives
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines
- Implement data quality, governance, and lineage practices
- Drive platform reliability and performance
- Evaluate and recommend tools and process improvements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
